Profile
Carbon steel balls are an economical alternative to through-hardened balls. They provide reliable performance for inexpensive anti-friction bearings, steering columns, casters, conveyors and trolleys, roller skates, toys, and drawer slides. Carbon steel balls are also specified for vibratory finishing, and in aerosol cans where ingredient mixing is required.
Material Characteristics High hardness, and excellent wear resistance. Manufactured from the highest quality carbon steel.
Hardness Case-hardened to Rockwell C - 60 (measured on parallel flats) to provide strength and long life.
